I’m just now getting over the shock of it all, I swear. I got to design the poster, knocked down one of our HARDEST hitters, got coached by two amazing skaters from Assassination City (Pyro Maim Ya and Smack the Ripper), and our team won! It was seriously an amazing night, and there’s no doubt in my mind that this is the sport for me. I’ve been so motivated to do better because of it.
Also I was amazed at how many people came out to support me, and amazed at how supportive my boyfriend was. It was seriously the greatest night of my life <3

She proposed to me last night and it was probably the best thing ever. I’ll post pictures of my ring soon.
Okay okay okay so I got on the team of my dreams, the Muertas Locas. They have an awesome day of the dead theme and a lot of ladies I look up to. No big deal, just screamed and grinned my ass off all day.
But this isn’t even the best part yet.
I am apparently going to be in my first bout on October 30th!!
Not going to lie, I panicked about that news… but it’s a sort of weird excited panic. I have about fourish weeks to prepare.. and I really really really hope I’m as ready as they think I am. I mean obviously I wouldn’t be here right now if they didn’t think I was ready and if I hadn’t proven myself, but still…
I’M GOING TO BE IN MY FIRST BOUT.
I PASSED MY WFTDA TEST!!! I found out Sunday, but I’ve been in such an awkward excited haze that I forgot to post… but yeah! I lapped everyone during our laps (5 laps in one minute, 20 laps in five minutes) and apparently did well on my skills. Now.. the dreaded wait to be drafted..
I’m so anxious I could barf.
I want to know my team colors! And make shirts! And junk!
